In light of the recent mandates passed by the QLD government to be effective on December 17th, our values that we hold strong will be compromised if only a certain sector of society were permitted to enter Nurcha spaces. We’re now faced with the prospect of trying to comply with government mandates, be of benefit to all, cater to all our Nurcha tribe members, and at the same time keep our business viable so that we can remain open and continue making change – “one meal at a time”.
So, we’ve made the difficult decision to remove tables and chairs at our Wises Road/Buderim space, making it takeaway only, with our groceries and retail continuing unchanged. That way our Buderim store can remain available and welcoming to everyone – customers and staff alike. Normally going takeaway only would have a significant impact on our viability. HOWEVER, we trust that our move to a non-discriminatory business model, ‘BEING OF BENEFIT TO ALL’, will prove to be sustainable and extremely successful.
