This World Water Day is focused around groundwater.
What is groundwater you may ask?
It’s a hidden treasure! It’s when water seeps into the ground and accumulates within cracks or pores in the rocks (aquifers), forming groundwater resources. It’s invisible, but it’s impact is visible everywhere.
Almost all of the liquid freshwater in the world is groundwater. As the impacts of climate change worsen, having healthy, sustainable groundwater will become more and more critical. If we work together, we can sustainably manage this precious, life-giving resource.
This is why we have partnered with Mt Beerwah Natural Spring Water – they work hard to ensure our groundwater is sustainably managed, so we can all enjoy some of the purest water on the planet.
Nurcha has been pumping Mt Beerwah Natural Spring Water straight into our coffee machines since 2019 to ensure we give you the best, cleanest and most sustainable tea and coffee experience we can! We’ve even added a Mt. Beerwah Spring Water refill station in store, so you may enjoy a superior tasting and eco-friendly water product at home too.
Mt Beerwah’s Natural Spring Water finds its way through ancient underground aquifers, deep beneath the glasshouse mountains, where it then filters through the earth itself. Thanks to this all natural system, the water is in such a pure state that it requires no additional filtration, surpassing all bottled water standards right at the source!
