EASY & DELICIOUS Vegan Anzac Biscuit Recipe
In the spirit of Anzac Day and for the love of baking delicious vegan treats/snacks we thought it’s a great time to share the best vegan Anzac biscuit recipe we could find!
With super simple and cost-effective ingredients and an easy to follow recipe, these Anzac biscuits will be an absolute hit! And if that wasn’t great enough, this recipe is completely plant-based.
For those with dietary restrictions, a few small adjustments and our vegan Anzac biscuit recipe can be vegan, gluten and or free of refined sugar too!
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 cup sugar of choice! We think Coconut Sugar tastes delicious.
- 1 cup plain flour, sifted (you can also use Gluten-Free Flour if you prefer. Try Buckwheat and Coconut)
- 125 g vegan margarine/butter or Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp golden syrup – or Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
- 3 tbsp boiling water
- Preheat the oven to 180° (160° for fan-assisted ovens).
- Place the oats, coconut, sugar and flour in a bowl and stir to combine aussie online casinos.
- Melt the vegan margarine and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
- In a separate bowl, combine the bicarb soda and boiling water, then add to the margarine syrup mixture.
The liquid will froth and increase in volume. - Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 12 balls and place on a lined or non-stick baking tray.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
