Vegan Anzac Biscuit Recipe

EASY & DELICIOUS Vegan Anzac Biscuit Recipe

In the spirit of Anzac Day and for the love of baking delicious vegan treats/snacks we thought it’s a great time to share the best vegan Anzac biscuit recipe we could find!

With super simple and cost-effective ingredients and an easy to follow recipe, these Anzac biscuits will be an absolute hit! And if that wasn’t great enough, this recipe is completely plant-based.

For those with dietary restrictions, a few small adjustments and our vegan Anzac biscuit recipe can be vegan, gluten and or free of refined sugar too!

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup sugar of choice! We think Coconut Sugar tastes delicious.
  • 1 cup plain flour, sifted (you can also use Gluten-Free Flour if you prefer. Try Buckwheat and Coconut)
  • 125 g vegan margarine/butter or Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup – or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 3 tbsp boiling water
  • Preheat the oven to 180° (160° for fan-assisted ovens).
  1. Place the oats, coconut, sugar and flour in a bowl and stir to combine aussie online casinos.
  2. Melt the vegan margarine and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the bicarb soda and boiling water, then add to the margarine syrup mixture.
The liquid will froth and increase in volume.
  4. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Roll the mixture into 12 balls and place on a lined or non-stick baking tray.
  6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Enjoy and share them with loved ones!
