Chef’s Choice “Curry Dahl” is an affordable, quick, simple and healthy meal that is super DAHLicious! Ready in a handful of moments. Packed full of incredible and beneficial herbs and spices this Dahl is nourishing and body warming!

Why do we love Dahl so much, you may be thinking?

The star of the dish is lentils and they are an absolute powerhouse!

Lentils are a low-calorie, nutrient-packed legume with an earthy flavour, they contain a great source of prebiotics which means they benefit our gut bacteria and feed our communities of healthy flora to keep everything running smoothly.

Because they’re high in insoluble fibre, they can help prevent constipation and are even known to relieve irritable bowel syndrome. They make an excellent plant-based source of both protein and iron that can help lower cholesterol, stabilise blood sugar and look after heart health. Just to name a few good reasons…

 

 

All you need for this dish is the Chef’s Choice Curry Dahl & 700ml-900 ml of water! Depending on how thick you like it!

Method:

1) Pour contents of Chef’s Choice Curry Dahl into a pot of choice

2) Add water until boiling and cook until nice and thick, fragrant and creamy!

*NOTE* We put in less water but added 1 can of Crushed Tomatoes and 1 can of Organic Coconut Milk for an even creamer dish!

Ingredients: Lentil, Curry Leaves, Cumin Seed, Cumin Powder, Garlic Granules, Fine Salt, Coriander Leaves, Turmeric Powder, Curry Powder.
