Vegan food is unique in that it must be 100% plant-based, and cruelty free. Ingredients cannot be derived from animals or animal by-products.
This means that choosing to be vegan is inherently healthy and great for our planet, when produced and sourced properly.
Nurcha carefully researches all of its suppliers and where possible, we work with only those who are local to us.
Our partners all share the same ethos as we do and align with our values of authenticity, sustainability, ethical production, community, innovation and inclusivity.
See below for examples of just some of the ethical brands and suppliers we work with.
Food must not contain any animal products or by-products for it to be vegan. Additionally, vegan products can not be tested on animals and their production can not involve any kind of negative impact on animals or their environment. Food cannot be produced with methods that involve cruelty of any kind.
For this reason, foods that vegetarians eat, such as eggs and dairy products are not considered to be vegan.
We understand that in today’s society, it is hard to maintain an earth-friendly approach at all times. But we need change. We need to make a difference. How do we achieve this? We do so by TRYING.
We don’t need a handful of people doing sustainable living perfectly, we need MILLIONS of people doing it imperfectly.
